The advantage of the centralized lubrication system is that because the pressure oil supply is large, it can meet the needs of a large number of widely distributed lubrication points to be lubricated in time. At the same time, the friction heat generated by the friction pair is taken away; mechanical impurities such as metal abrasive particles on the friction surface are removed. As the oil flows and circulates, impurities are taken away and washed away, achieving the purpose of good lubrication, reducing friction, reducing wear and consumption of wearing parts, reducing power consumption, and increasing the service life of the equipment. However, the maintenance and management of the centralized lubrication system is more complicated and adjustment is more difficult. Problems in every link may cause the entire lubrication system to malfunction and stop production. Therefore, it must be continuously improved in future production practices.
In the entire lubrication system, lubrication equipment and devices, control devices and instruments are installed to adjust and control the flow, pressure, temperature, impurity filtration, etc. in the lubrication system to ensure the most reasonable lubrication of the equipment. In order to make the entire system work reliably, the following automatic control and signaling devices should be provided.
1. host boot control
Before starting the main engine, start the lubricating oil pump to supply oil to the main engine. The main engine can only be started when the oil pressure is normal. If the oil pressure fluctuates greatly after the lubricating oil pump is started or the oil pressure does not rise, it means that the lubrication system is not normal. At this time, the host cannot rotate even if the operating button is pressed. This is a safety protection measure. There are many ways to control interlocking. Generally, a hydraulic relay is installed on the hydraulic oil pipeline to control the electrical circuit of the main engine operation.
2. Automatically start oil pump
In the lubrication system, if the system oil pressure drops below the working pressure (0.05MPa), the backup oil pump will start and send out a warning signal at the same time. The red light will turn on and the electric whistle will sound. At this time, the personnel on duty will follow the warning signal. Carry out inspection and take measures to eliminate the fault. After the system oil pressure becomes normal, the backup pump will stop working.
3. Force the host to stop running
After the backup oil pump is started, if the system oil pressure continues to drop (lower than the working pressure) (0.08~1.25MPa), the oil pump will automatically stop running and send out a signal; the main engine will also be forced to stop running, and an accident alarm signal will be sent out at the same time. The red light will turn on. Electric whistle blows.
4. high voltage signal
When the working pressure of the system exceeds the normal working pressure by 0.05MPa, a high-pressure signal will be sent, the green light will turn on, and the electric whistle will sound. Personnel on duty should check and eliminate the fault.
Starting the backup oil pump, forcing the main engine to stop, etc. are often controlled by electrical contact pressure gauges and pressure relays.
5. Oil level control of fuel tank
The oil level control of the oil tank often uses a reed float type liquid level controller. When the oil level in the fuel tank continues to drop and reaches the lowest allowable oil level, the liquid level controller contacts close and send out a low liquid level warning signal. The red light turns on and the electric whistle sounds, and at the same time the oil pump and the main engine are forced to stop running. When the oil level in the tank continues to rise (it may be water or other media entering the tank) and reaches the high oil level, a high level warning signal will be issued, the red light will turn on, and the electric whistle will sound. Inspections should be made and restrictive measures should be taken. , remove the fault.
6. Fuel tank heating control
When operating in cold areas or winter, the lubricating oil in the oil tank should be heated. The lubricating oil temperature is generally maintained at around 40°C to maintain the fluidity of the oil. Otherwise, the control of the entire system will be difficult due to low temperature and increased oil viscosity. . There are two heating methods, one is to use steam heating, which is relatively gentle; the other is to use electric heating elements. The latter heating method is more violent and sometimes causes thermal cracking of the oil, reducing the viscosity and producing colloid precipitation. Both methods are equipped with automatic temperature adjustment devices. When the oil temperature rises to the specified temperature, the power or steam will be automatically cut off.
7. System automatic temperature measurement device
The temperature of relevant parts of the system must be measured regularly during operation in order to understand the operation status. For example, the oil temperature and water temperature of the oil tank, oil drain pipe, inlet and outlet coolers must be measured at any time. For this purpose, an automatic temperature measuring device is used. Commonly used measuring devices are thermal sensors and bridge thermometers. The temperature of each part can be measured by twisting the switch on the operating panel.
8. Filter starts automatically
When the pressure difference between the oil flow in and out of the filter is greater than 0.05~0.06MPa, the filter is blocked. The filter should be automatically activated to remove impurities around the filter cartridge within the disc filter. It is usually controlled by an electrical contact differential pressure gauge. When the pressure difference decreases (or returns to the allowable pressure difference range), the power supply is cut off and the cleaning of the filter cartridge is automatically stopped.
Thin oil centralized lubrication also includes the following two lubrication systems:
